Here is the agenda for the Charlotte Mason seminar presented by Penny Gardner.

8:30-9:50 Preschool-at-Home Presentation ($5, includes a packet that sells for that amount)

10:00 Introduction to Charlotte Mason and her Philosophy

10:20 Language Arts, the Charlotte Mason Way Includes narration, copywork, dictation, spelling, and grammar.

11:30 Geography, Math, Science, and History

12:05 Lunch break and book sales (Sorry, no credit cards. Personal checks are accepted.)
A young woman will offer soup and bread for $5 to raise money to travel to Russia to teach.

12:45 Nature Journaling

1:15 Art Appreciation

1:45 Concluding CM talk: Common Concerns and Questions

2:05-2:30 Break, books sales. Students 8 and up may arrive during this time to participate in the hands-on workshops below. Those not interested in participating may leave during this break.

2:35 Teach Your Children Recorder Optional workshop. Bring your own soprano recorder (about 12 inches long) or purchase a top quality recorder at the seminar for $10. Music provided.

3:10 Italic Handwriting Lesson Bring a pencil and lined paper.

Note: All seminars are inclusive. Secular homeschoolers as well of those of any faith are welcome. Nursing babies are welcome but please make arrangements for other children.

Note: Starting times may vary as dictated by the requirements of the seminar location. Registration and books sales start one-half hour before the workshops, which will start promptly at the specified time. Come a little early so you have time to check in without missing the first talk. The order of talks and the actual time for lunch may vary.
