to request that I send you the file in an attachment.) Print several copies of the page. Cardstock is not necessary since child will be tracing each letter called
with a colored pencil or colored marker making this a consumable sheet. This activity combines penmanship with reading skills--the child is practicing sound to sound/symbol
correspondence. Make sure the child traces each letter correctly by starting at the right spot of the letter and going in the correct direction. It is worth your time to have good letter-forming
habits from the beginning.There will be four different bingo cards at each level. Write letters on blank bingo cards as listed below in your best handwriting. Click here for information on italic handwriting. Use
magnetic letters or homemade letter cards for calling cards. When the SOUND is called (not letter name), the child traces the symbol every time it occurs on his card. The first person to
have 4 traced letters in a row is the winner.. |
